At JTC Events, we want every round to matter.
Tournament days should not feel as though they are over the moment a player can no longer reach the Top 8. Whether you are competing for qualification, chasing prizes or simply trying to finish with the strongest record possible, we believe there should always be a reason to sit down for the next match.
That is the JTC Standard: play until the end, because there is always something to play for.
At the Inkbound Invitational Qualifiers, dropping early could mean walking away from far more than just your next match. Here is why every player should keep playing until the final round.
Every Point Matters
The Top 8 of each Inkbound Invitational Qualifier will secure their invitation, but that is not the only route into the Inkbound Invitational.
Once all three Qualifiers have been completed, eight additional invitations will be awarded to the players with the highest combined match-point totals across the entire series who have not already qualified.
That means every win matters. Every draw matters. Every single point you earn could be the difference between qualifying for the Invitational and narrowly missing out.
Even if the Top 8 is no longer within reach on the day, your overall qualification campaign is still very much alive.
This is even more important for players competing for the dedicated Women+ and Junior invitations. Continuing to play and adding to your total could prove vital when the final standings are calculated.
One difficult round does not end your journey. Keep playing, keep earning points and keep yourself in the race.
A Booster for Every Win
Qualification is not the only reason to fight for every result.
At our Inkbound Invitational Qualifiers, players will receive one booster pack for every match win.
Whether it is the opening round or the final match of the day, victory earns you another booster. A strong finish can completely transform your prize haul, so there is always an immediate reward waiting for you when you are victorious.
The Final-Round Enchanted Raffle
Anyone still playing in the final round will also be entered into our special Enchanted raffle.
Three players will be selected at random, with each winner receiving a Hyperia City Enchanted!
You do not need to be undefeated. You do not need to be on the top tables. You simply need to still be playing when the final round begins.
Stay in the tournament, play it out and you could finish your day by taking home an Enchanted.
Best in Colour
We also want to celebrate the players who perform brilliantly with every part of the Lorcana colour wheel...
The player with the best Swiss score in each of Lorcana’s 15 possible colour pairings will receive an exclusive 2026 Convention Playmat for those outside of Top 8.
That creates 15 additional prizes to compete for across the tournament.
You might be out of Top 8 contention, but you could still be the highest-performing Amber/Amethyst player, the best Emerald/Steel player or the leading pilot of whichever colour pairing you brought to the event.
Your final rounds could be the ones that earn you the title of Best in Colour and one of the most gorgeous Lorcana playmats to boot!

A tournament should never feel over after one loss - or even after several.
At an Inkbound Invitational Qualifier, every remaining match offers another opportunity:
- Another chance to earn vital Invitational match points.
- Another opportunity to win a booster.
- Another entry into the final-round Enchanted raffle.
- Another step towards becoming the best-performing player in your colour pairing.
That is what we mean by the JTC Standard.
We want full tournament halls, meaningful final rounds and players who know that, regardless of their record, there is still something worth competing for.
So keep your deck sleeved. Stay in your seat. Play until the end.
