We are incredibly proud to announce that the second Inkbound Invitational Qualifier will take place at Firestorm Games Cardiff on Saturday 27th February 2027.
The Inkbound Invitational was created with a clear ambition: to deliver a truly nationwide competitive Lorcana series that brings major events to communities across the United Kingdom.
Following our opening qualifier at Players Paradice in Newport Pagnell, the next stop on our journey will take us into Wales for an unforgettable weekend of Lorcana.
Finding the Right Home in Cardiff
We have spent a considerable amount of time exploring different options for our second qualifier.
Finding the right venue was incredibly important to us. We wanted somewhere capable of hosting a major competitive event while still providing the welcoming atmosphere and community spirit that sits at the heart of the Inkbound Invitational.
Ultimately, one venue stood out.
Firestorm Games is already a firm favourite among Lorcana players and one of the most respected organised play venues in the United Kingdom. Its fantastic facilities, experienced team and strong connection with the gaming community make it the perfect home for our Cardiff qualifier.
We are delighted to be working with Firestorm Games and cannot wait to bring the complete Inkbound Invitational experience to Cardiff.
A Nationwide Lorcana Tour
The Inkbound Invitational is about more than a single tournament.
Our first season will take players across the country as they compete for qualification, earn points and attempt to secure their place at the season ending Invitational.
Cardiff represents the next major step in that journey.
Players from Wales, the South West and beyond will have the opportunity to compete in one of the biggest independent Lorcana tournament series in the country, all within one of the community’s most popular venues.
Whether you are competing for a place at the Invitational, chasing points across the season or attending your first major Lorcana event, we want Cardiff to be a weekend you will remember.
Two Days. Three Huge Events.
The Inkbound Invitational Qualifier will take place on Saturday 27th February, but the action will not end there.
On Sunday 28th February, we will be bringing TWO more huge events to Firestorm Games Cardiff.
More information about both events will be revealed soon, but players can expect a complete weekend of Lorcana with something for every part of the community.
