The Inkbound Invitational Series is a competitive Disney Lorcana tournament series designed to bring together some of the best players from across all three Inkbound Invitational Qualifiers.
Across the series, players will compete not only for success at each individual Qualifier, but also for one of just 34 places at the Inkbound Invitational.
How to Qualify
The 34-player field will be made up of:
- Eight players from each Inkbound Invitational Qualifier
- The highest-placed Woman + player who has not already qualified
- The highest-placed junior player aged under 18 who has not already qualified
- The eight highest-ranked remaining players based on total match points accumulated across all three Qualifiers
This creates three different routes into the Invitational: performing exceptionally at an individual Qualifier, earning one of our dedicated Woman + or junior invitations, or demonstrating consistent results throughout the entire series.
Qualifying Through an Individual Event
Each of the three Inkbound Invitational Qualifiers will award eight invitations, creating the first 24 places in the Invitational.
Players who finish in the qualifying positions at one of these events will secure their place immediately.
A player may only qualify once. If a player who has already secured an invitation finishes in a qualifying position at a later event, the invitation will pass to the next eligible player in that event’s final standings. This ensures that each Qualifier ultimately awards eight unique places at the Invitational.
Woman+ Player Invitation
Once all three Qualifiers have been completed, an invitation will be awarded to the highest-ranked Woman+ player who has not already qualified.
This place will be determined using the player’s total match points accumulated across the three Qualifier events.
If the highest-ranked eligible Woman+ player has already qualified through an individual event, the invitation will pass to the next highest-ranked eligible Woman+ player.
Junior Player Invitation
A further invitation will be awarded to the highest-ranked eligible junior player who has not already qualified.
For the purposes of the Inkbound Invitational Series, a junior player is someone aged under 18.
This place will also be determined using total match points accumulated across the three Qualifiers. If the highest-ranked junior player has already qualified, the invitation will pass to the next highest-ranked eligible junior player.
Series Standings Invitations
The final eight places will be awarded through the overall Inkbound Invitational Series standings.
Players will earn match points throughout all three Qualifiers, with their points added together to create their final series total. Once the individual event qualifiers and the dedicated Woman + and junior invitations have been allocated, the eight highest-ranked remaining players will receive invitations.
These places reward players who perform consistently across the entire series, even if they do not finish in a qualifying position at a single event.
An Invitational Prize Pool Worth Fighting For
The prizes available at each of the three Qualifiers will already be incredibly generous, but qualifying is about much more than the rewards available on the day.
The 34 players who earn their place at the Inkbound Invitational will compete for an extraordinary prize pool created specifically for the season finale.
Over the nine months leading up to the Invitational, we will gradually reveal the prizes awaiting our qualified players. Each new announcement will add to the stakes as the final field takes shape and the Invitational draws closer.
We are now delighted to reveal the first headline prize:
A Complete Set of Fabled Enchanted Cards!
This is only the beginning.
More major additions to the Inkbound Invitational prize pool will be announced throughout the nine-month build-up. Follow Jack Trades Cards and keep an eye on the official series announcements to see what else will be waiting for our 34 Invitational players.
Why Play in Every Qualifier?
Every match matters.
Players have the opportunity to qualify directly at each event, but results from across the series can also secure one of the final eight invitations. Competing in multiple Qualifiers gives players more opportunities to accumulate match points and improve their position in the overall standings.
The series has been designed to reward both outstanding individual performances and consistency over time.
Tiebreakers and Final Standings
If two or more players finish the series with the same number of total match points, the published Inkbound Invitational Series tiebreakers will be used to determine their final positions.
